Embedded System Software Engineer

Description:

Innovator of reconfigurable and adaptable signal processing solutions with products that demand real-time, extremely high performance, ultra-low power, computation intensive hardware and software for data acquisition, data algorithm, communications, and digital imaging markets.

Develop system software layer for hardware development platform targeted to support algorithm development and application hardware and software development. Provide expertise plus design, development, and support for:

• Low level I/O device and DRAM drivers
• Nano kernel
• Diagnostics
• Master system controller

Job will require this person to work closely with Software Development, Hardware Development, and Applications groups to understand and solve cross functional design issues. Applicant must be able to initiate original and creative designs as understood from working closely with customers and partners.

Education, Experience, and Skills:

Should have an MS/BS in EE or CS with 5+ yrs experience. Experience with multiple RTOS(s), firmware, device driver development, bootloader, bootcode, BSP and other platform development.

• C++/C
• DSP assembly language
• Ability to work independently, meet project deadlines and document work
• Must have good communication skills
