A Systems Approach.
HyperX products have been developed from the ground up to address the entire product development life-cycle from initial concept to final form factor product. Critical to realizing an actual product in a timely manner is the HyperX Hardware Application Development System (hxHADS™) platform, which works in concert with HyperX Integrated System Development Environment Tool Suite. The hxHADS platform is user extensible and customizable, supporting single to multi-HyperX processor development in a variety of configurations.
The modular development approach is supported by extensive debugging facilities allowing real time diagnostics and control of the target system at full speed. The major components of the hxHADS platform are:
- hx MODULE – The HyperX Module is a card with one HyperX processor that can run stand-alone or connect to the System Module (backplane).
- GPP-IO MODULE – The Control-IO Module includes a general purpose processor interface and I/O interface, enabling easy plug-in of off-the-shelf processor daughter cards. This module enables programmable I/O interfaces to data converters, PCI express (PCIe), Ethernet, USB, VGA, DVI, CameraLink, etc.
- System MODULE – The four slot System Module functions as a backplane, supporting any combination of modules with plug and play capability.
Specific hxHADS platform configurations are available to support system development for target markets. The HyperX Radio Waveform Development System (hxRWDS) supports wireless system development from enterprise to handheld devices. The HyperX Video and Imaging Development System (hxVIDS) enables rapid implementation of streaming video systems.
